A compact, super-lightweight and highly effective fire lighting tool, designed to allow its user to quickly and reliably get a fire started, regardless of weather conditions. It combines a ferrocerium (fire steel) rod with a steel striker to produce a large volume of 3,000° C sparks.

The unit also features a built-in whistle, ideal for signalling and helping rescuers locate you in low-visibility survival situations.
