MagLoop

Description

A pair of high-strength utility magnets. Designed to work individually or together for hundreds of different applications, including: hanging up tools, keys, cables or gadgets, clamping fabric and papers, magnetic retrieval, quick detach, parts holding or simply as very strong fridge magnets!

Unique teardrop shape allows the magnet to be both carefully placed into position (avoiding impacts to surfaces) and then removed easily; pulling a strong magnet directly away from a metal surface can otherwise be quite hard! The cord loop allows the MagLoop to be securely looped onto a variety of objects with holes or rings.

Colour-coded north and south-faced pairs allow the MagLoops to strongly clamp together, allowing canvas, towels or stacks of paper to be clamped between them, whilst providing a useful loop to hang these items by.

Supplied with two POM polymer hooks; ideal for hanging keys or small tools onto. Also supplied with 8 self-adhesive magnetically-receptive plates that can be stuck onto non-magnetic surfaces and objects, allowing MagLoops to work on them.

MagLoops are high-strength (N52) neodymium magnets mounted into durable and shockproof TPU teardrop-shape housings. A short cord loop allows them to be looped onto a variety of tools and objects, looped to each other or onto the supplied hooks.

They can be used to hang up a variety of tools, cables and gadgets on magnetically-receptive surfaces, like iron or most steels.

Even if a surface is non-magnetic, the supplied self-adhesive magnetically-receptive plates can be applied, providing a small patch where MagLoops can attach.

Surface friction and metal thickness will affect grip, but a MagLoop can typically hold 1.5-2kg vertically on powder-coated steel, such as shelving or tool cabinets. Rubberised surfaces will have the highest friction, and therefore higher weight capacity.

Supplied in pairs, with colour-coded faces of opposite polarity, MagLoops will clamp strongly face-to-face, allowing them to clamp thin materials. This is ideal for adding a hanging loop to your favourite gym towel, hanging a stack of documentation on a machine, or perhaps temporarily adding an extra loop to a tent/awning.

MagLoops are also compatible with our MagModule product.

Available as standard with red and blue caps, or with bright glow-in-the-dark caps, which are ideal for marking important tools or kit in dark environments – the perfect mounting point for an emergency flashlight! The glow-in-the-dark photoluminescent material ‘charges’ by daylight or artificial light and remains visible for up to 12 hours in darkness.
