Description

A pair of high-strength utility magnets. Designed to work individually or together for hundreds of different applications, including: holding parts and tools, mounting devices, outdoor gear applications and generally mounting a strong magnet onto anything that requires ‘magnetising’.

‘Webbing slider’ housing design means the MagModule can be securely fixed using straps, either the included 20mm ‘hook and loop’ straps, or with user-supplied webbing/’hook and loop’/cable tie fixtures.

Colour-coded north and south-faced pairs allow the MagModules to strongly clamp together – this allows you to create quick detach systems, for example: mounting a water bottle onto a bicycle frame.

Also supplied with 7 self-adhesive magnetically-receptive plates that can be stuck onto non-magnetic surfaces and objects, allowing MagModules to work on them.

MagModules are high-strength (N52) neodymium magnets mounted into durable and shockproof TPU webbing slider-type housings. They can be used with the included ‘hook and loop’ straps, any other strap up to 20mm width, or cable ties.

They can be strapped to an object to give it a magnetic property, for example a tool or a can of oil could then be attached to a metal tool cabinet. They can be strapped to shelving, poles, scaffolding etc., making a static magnet, ideal for holding all manner of metal tools. Grip on vertical surfaces typically allows 1.5-2kg to be held (powder coated steel) overhead hold is up to 6kg.

Worn on the wrist with the included straps, they can make for a small but powerful parts holder, ideal for screws or bits.

The slider shape makes the MagModule a perfect addition to outdoor equipment items that feature webbing straps, such as rucksacks and fishing bags; an ideal temporary holder for outdoor tools, equipment and fishing hooks.

Supplied in pairs, with colour-coded faces of opposite polarity, MagModules will clamp strongly face-to-face, allowing two objects to be given powerful magnetic quick-detach functions. MagModules are also compatible with our MagLoops product.

Even if an object or surface is non-magnetic, the included self-adhesive magnetically-receptive plates can be applied, allowing them to be used with MagModules. An example use of this would be mounting your phone to bicycle handlebars, by applying a plate to the rear of your phone.
